TANGO AT ITS MOST SUBLIME

My new novel, The Closest Thing To Crazy, is set in the intoxicating world of tango.
I’d love to share a vision of tango at its most sublime.
I defy you to watch this video featuring Carlos Gavito and Marcela Duran and not pack your bags for the first possible plane to Buenos Aires. You think I’m kidding? I’m not. Tango changes you, as I found out in Argentina.
Argentinian dancer, Gavito, inspired many tango dancers and played a part in its revival in the ‘90s. The greatest of the great, he figures in my book (although sadly in real life he died in 2005, before I could live out one of my fantasies and dance with him). Thankfully images of his magic live on.
